My Love From The Star

SBS fantasy romance drama 'My Love From The Stars' starring Kim Soo Hyun, Jun Ji Hyun, Yoo In Na and Park Hae Jin.

Kim Soo Hyun as the lead actor Do Min Joo and Jun Ji Hyun as the lead actress Cheon Song Yi. Do Min Joo is an alien who can to planet Earth over 400 years ago in the Josen Dynasty and falls in love with Song Yi who reminds him of his first love who he met 400 years ago. 

Cheon Song Yi is an A List Hallyu actress who is know for her rude, obnoxious and attention seeking personality. Cheon Song Yi has been a childhood star and has lived a pampered life and has never learned of a normal life style. 

Do Min Joo only has 3 months until he leaves planet Earth and returns back to his own planet so he tries to avoid Cheon Song Yi but he keeps finding himself protecting her or stopping her from getting into trouble. The two find themselves developing feelings for each other even though they try to stay away from each other and he knows he will be leaving soon. 

We loved the drama and were drawn in the unexpected romance between the two. Ji Hyun brings out a lot of humor in the drama and shows a different side to most lead actress roles who show a more girly and  reserved role. Whereas she was playing a clumsy, over the top character.
