Korean Food: Assa

53 St. Giles High Street

Closest station: Tottenham Court Road

Looking for a Korean food spot? We're here to help you with that. This is one of our favourite Korean restaurants in London.

Yesterday we went to have lunch at Assa with our cousin and as always it did not disappoint us. The food is really tasty, the service is quick and to top it off, the price is affordable.

Is your mouth watering yet? Kimchi pancake, kimchi stir fried rice, spicy seafood udon and ddeokbooki with fish cakes and ramen. All dishes were super tasty and we are definitely going back to try more dishes.

Vegetable pancake

The vegetable pancake was crunchy. Just how we like it.

Kimchi stir fried rice

We absolutely loved the kimchi fried rice. The rice was soft and sticky and absorbed the tangy kimchi taste perfectly. The egg was the cherry on top making it that extra bit yummy.

Ddeokbboki with fish cake and ramen

This is by far one of my favourite Korean dishes and Assa did not dissapoint.

Spicy seafood udon

It was our first time ordering this dish and we will definitely be ordering it after next time we visit a Korean restaurant.

Our cousin has never tried Korean food in her life but she absolutely loved all the dishes. She even told us to call her over when we made ddeokbboki at home. Mission accomplished. ^0^
